Winthrop Eagle Club to host 'Eagles 101'

The Winthrop Eagle Club will host Winthrop Eagles 101 on Sept. 3 at Winthrop Coliseum. The event is open to the public. Reservations are required.

Winthrop Eagles 101 starts at 5:30 p.m., with dinner at 7:00 p.m.

Fans will have the opportunity to go behind the scenes to meet the 2008-09 Eagles student-athletes. Guided bus tours of the athletic facilities will depart approximately every 30 minutes.

Tickets are $20 per person, $10 for children (13 and under). This event is free for people that renew their Eagle Club membership or join at the Coaches level ($300) or above for the 2008-2009 year.
