Creating new jobs is top priority
Hello friends and neighbors in state House District 48. On Tuesday, we will be asked to vote for a new representative to replace Carl Gullick. We have two candidates to choose from.
In this current economy, we need someone in Columbia who has the business experience to bring jobs into this area. I can think of only one who has that experience, and that is Ralph Norman. While his opponent has some impressive experience in the education field, which does need some repairing, our biggest priority in the county is jobs. When we create them, we will create revenues that we can then use to repair our education system. So, come Tuesday, get out and vote please.

Michael Vick is least of our worries
This is in response to Inge Smith's letter. Mark Twain said: “Of all the animals, man is the only one that is cruel. He is the only one that inflicts pain for the pleasure of doing it.” He also said: “It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.”
Ms. Smith is putting Micheal Vick down for dog fighting. He didn't invent that so-called sport; it's been going on for years. It has always been wrong, but I haven't heard anyone put the prison system down for releasing several convicted rapists back on the streets because of some law about life sentencing. Micheal Vick should be the least of your worries.
