Police say 23-year-old Elmer David Cespedes Orozco of Lexington, N.C., was charged with armed robbery after he turned himself in Wednesday night.

Investigators think Orozco drove the vehicle used during the April 27 robbery.

Authorities say two men in ski masks robbed the agent and two people with her at gunpoint. The agent fired a shot at the men as they ran off.

Investigators say they have not determined if a man whose body was found earlier this week in Laurens County was involved in the robbery.

Authorities say the man was shot in the heart and dumped by a dirt road.
