Former Winthrop soccer standout Adam Brundle signs with Swedish pro team

Former Winthrop men’s soccer standout Adam Brundle has signed a professional contract with Pro Soccer Consulting and will play for Karlslunds IF HFK in Sweden.
Brundle, who spent three years as a starter for Winthrop and was an All-Big South Second Team performer in 2013, earned a contract with PSC after a combine workout in Jacksonville, FL this past December as well as his performance in the 2014 Showcase tours to Turkey and Sweden. He played 53 games with the Eagles and had seven goals (four of which were game-winners) and eight assists in his Winthrop career.
Karlslunds IF HFK are a member of the Swedish 2nd Division and has been in the 1st Division as recent as 2009.
