Lewisville 4, McBee 2
The Lewisville Lions scored three runs in the second inning and made it stand up for a 4-2 win over the McBee Panthers in the Region 3-A opener for both teams at Richburg.
Evan Sisk pitched a complete game to pick up his third win of the year. He struck out 11 and scattered four hits.
Christian Cok led the Lions with a pair of hits. The win improved Lewisville to 5-1 overall.

Clover 10, South Pointe 0
Clover 13, South Pointe 1
The Clover Blue Eagles got nine hits and took advantage of six South Pointe errors and beat the Stallions in a Region 3-AAAA game at South Pointe.
Elizabeth Edmunds picked up the win for Clover. Twins Brittany and Brooke Rhinehardt led the Blue Eagles at the plate with two hits each.

The Northwestern Trojans pounded out 11 hits and defeated the Lancaster Bruins 7-2 in Region 3-AAAA action at Northwestern.
Kori Wancheck pitched a complete game and struck out 11. The Trojans had four players with two hits each.

Nation Ford and Fort Mill both registered victories in the Wildcat Invitational at Lexington.
Nation Ford edged Spring Valley 5-4, while Fort Mill bested Hillcrest 3-2.

Indian 5, Forest Hills 0: The third-ranked Indian Land Warriors led 2-0 at halftime and went on to the defeat Forest Hills 5-0 in non-region action.
Shalyn Dougherty had three goals for the Warriors. Babs Marshall and Kelsey Groll each added a goal for Indian Land.
Kate Komorous and Kristen Carpenter each had an assist for the Warriors, who improved to 4-2 with the win.

Indian Land 8, Camden Military 7 (Late Thursday): The Indian Land Warriors pounded out 14 hits and topped Camden Military 8-7 in a non-region game.
Chris Cantrell, Mike Webb, James Porcelly, and Jake Dyer had two hits each to lead the Warriors. Chuck Webb earned the win for Indian Land. Matt Fullen took the loss.
The win improved Indian Land to 3-1 on the year.
Clover 8, Union 6: The Clover Blue Eagles scored four runs in the sixth and put down a Union rally in the seventh to claim an 8-6 win over the Yellow Jackets in non-region action at Clover.
Elizabeth Edmunds picked up her second win of the year with a complete game. Blake Wallert led the Blue Eagles attack with three runs batted in.
