Lewisville snags victory on senior night

The Lewisville Lions celebrated senior night with a 3-2 non-region win over the Andrew Jackson Volunteers.
Obbie Sarduy picked up the win for the Lions. He tossed a complete game, scattering three hits and striking out seven.
Sarduy led the Lewisville attack with a pair of hits and scored two runs. Austin Bradshaw’s infield groundout in the third inning drove in the winning run.
The Lions improved to 19-5 overall with the win. Lewisville will open the play-offs on Thursday at 6 p.m. when they host the Williston-Elko Blue Devils.

Clover 5, Rock Hill 1: The Clover Blue Eagles won four singles matches and one doubles contest and topped the Rock Hill Bearcats in a Region 3-AAAA match at Rock Hill.
The win clinched the region title for the Blue Eagles.

Fort Mill 4, Lancaster 3: The Fort Mill Yellow Jackets won three singles matches and one doubles match and edged the Lancaster Bruins in a Region 3-AAAA contest.

Chester 9, Clinton 0: The Chester Cyclones defeated the Clinton Red Devils in a Region 3-AAA contest.
The win evened the Cyclones region mark at 5-5. Chester will take on Woodruff on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Broome High School for third place in the region.
