There is still uncertainty regarding the status of Eddie Hill's position as baseball coach at Rock Hill High School. A meeting was held Thursday afternoon that included Hill, principal Judy Mobley and athletics director Billy Parker to discuss the matter. According to Parker, the meeting was productive although no final decision was made on whether Hill would return as baseball coach.

“It was a very good meeting,” Parker said. “But we don't have a decision right now. From my standpoint, I just have to say it is a personnel issue and I cannot comment publicly on personnel issues. Coach Hill has some decisions to make. I am going to leave it that.”

Efforts to reach Hill at his home and by cell phone were unsuccessful. Messages requesting information about the meeting were left unanswered.

Alex Moore was on his back at a small medical clinic in Maniwaki, Ottawa, Canada, for five hours waiting for his left leg to become completely anesthetized so the doctors could get to work.
