Montgomerie maintains U.S. Senior Open lead

Edmond, OK (SportsNetwork.com) - Colin Montgomerie carded an even-par 71 on Friday as he maintained his 1-stroke lead after two rounds of the U.S. Senior Open Championship.
Montgomerie, the reigning Senior PGA Championship winner, finished 36 holes at Oak Tree National at 6-under-par 136.
Scott Dunlap shot a 3-under 68 to jump into second place at 5-under 137, while 2010 U.S. Senior Open champion Bernhard Langer (69) and Gene Sauers (69) shared third at minus-4.
Mark Brooks (71), Lance Ten Broeck (69), Jeff Sluman (69) and Doug Garwood (69) are tied for fifth at 3-under. Vijay Singh (71) is alone in ninth at 2- under 140.
