Walker beats Hull in German playoff

Worthsee, Germany (SportsNetwork.com) - Kylie Walker parred the first playoff hole on Sunday to defeat Charley Hull and win the Ladies German Open.
Walker, who started the week with three straight 64s, managed a 1-under 71 in the final round at Worthsee Golf Club. She ended at 25-under-par 263.
Hull fired a bogey-free, 7-under 65 in the final round to catch Walker.
They returned to the 18th, where Hull stumbled to a bogey to lose as Walker made par.
Walker had a bogey and a birdie on the front nine. Around the turn, she wrapped birdies at 13 and 15 around a bogey on the 14th. She parred the last four to get into the playoff.
Carlota Ciganda closed with a 9-under 63 and ended alone in third at minus-23. Gwladys Nocera (65), Sandra Gal (68), Any Boulden (69) and Yu Yang Zhang (72) shared fourth place at 18-under 270.
