Game times for Class AAAA boys' basketball playoffs set

The game times and a location for Saturday's Class AAAA Upper State boys basketball playoffs have been set.

The games are set for 7 p.m., unless the opposing coaches agree otherwise.

Clover athletics director Carroll Hester said Thursday the Blue Eagles' home game against Easley will start at 5 p.m.

Northwestern is on the road against Anderson's Westside. Because Westside's gym is spoken for, the game will be played across town at T.L. Hanna High School, with a 6 p.m. tipoff.

Saturday's winner advance to the third round next Tuesday.

BASEBALL: Rock Hill High School is hosting its annual Rock Hill Baseball Jamboree on Saturday.

The day starts at 10:30 a.m., with Northwestern playing Nation Ford. Rock Hill plays Chester at noon, followed by York and South Pointe at 1:30 p.m.

Each game will be four innings. Tickets are $5 at the field.

Rock Hill will be traveling next week to play in the Baseball at the Beach Tournament.

SOCCER: The annual Fort Mill High soccer alumni games will be played at Bob Jones Stadium on Saturday.

The guys will play at 4 p.m., followed by the ladies at 6 p.m.

All former players are urged to come out and join in the fun.
