United Way of Central Carolinas has won a $150,000 grant to help with its ongoing effort to improve graduation rates in Mecklenburg and Union counties.
The $150,000, to be distributed over two years, will allow the agency to analyze the successes of child and youth programs that are currently being funded by United Way in Mecklenburg and Union counties. The Sisters of Mercy of North Carolina Foundation provided the $150,000. Mark Price
