‘Kinky Boots,’ ‘Pippin’ among Blumenthal series shows

The 2014-15 season of Blumenthal Performing Arts’ Broadway Lights series will include several Tony Award-winning productions, including “Kinky Boots,” the winner of six Tonys, and “Pippin,” which won a Tony for Best Revival.

Other productions include “The Phantom of the Opera” “Motown the Musical,” “Newsies,” “Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story” and “A Night with Janis Joplin.”

The season opens in November with a production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella.” PNC Bank will be the title sponsor of the series. Dan Duffey
