Adrianne Nicole McGee and Jonathan Brooks Knight were married June 14, 2014.
The ceremony took place at the Lake Wylie home of the bride’s brother and sister-in-law, Brandon and Ashley McGee. Jimmy Chrismon, friend of the bride, officiated. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the River Hills Marina.
The bride is the daughter of Nancy Pate McGee and the late Samuel Thomas McGee. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Speed Pate and Marjorie Thompson McGee and the late Thomas Grant McGee.
The groom is the son of Mrs. Susan Long Trent and Edgar Brooks Knight Jr. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Long and Mrs. Elaine Rollins and the late Edgar Brooks Knight.

The bride received her master’s degree in education from Winthrop University and will graduate in August from Gardner-Webb University with a doctoral degree in curriculum and instruction. She is a teacher at South Pointe High School in Rock Hill.
The groom graduated from Gaston College and owns JBK Tile Co. in Fort Mill.
Their honeymoon trip was to Oak Island, N.C. The newlyweds now reside in Fort Mill.
