Students, parents, and staff from both schools participated in national Unity Day, which is sponsored by PACER's National Center for Bullying Prevention. Participants were asked to wear the color orange, which symbolizes warmth and calm, to show they are committed to ending bullying. The third annual, 1.5-mile march is part of a week of activities which included Mix It Up Monday, where students were encourage to interact with students they usually do not, and Anti-Bullying Pledge Day on Tuesday.
