York County No Wrong Door will present a Feb. 12 session on how to help children cope with SADDness: stress, anxiety, depression and destructive behavior.
Lunch and evening presentations are planned in York, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Hunter Street Elementary, where lunch will be served, and 6 to 7 p.m. at the school district office on East Liberty Street.
Professionals will be available after the program to answer questions about family support, mental health, educational and substance abuse concerns.
They will include school district counselors and staff members from Catawba Community Mental Health Center, Keystone Substance Abuse Center and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Piedmont Tri-County.
