Gun fired during convenience store robbery

A man fired a gun into a store ceiling and grabbed a customer before robbing a Rock Hill convenience story Wednesday, officials said.

No one was injured during the armed robbery, said Lt. Tim Hager of the York County Sheriff’s office.

No arrest have been made in the case, he said.

Around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, officials responded to an armed robbery at Little Giant Convenience store at 1190 S. Anderson Road in Rock Hill. Several witnesses, including a customer and two employees, said the man fled on foot, according to police reports.
