ROCK HILL -- Mrs. Martha Ruth Potts Clark, 75, of 4710 Pottery Road died Tuesday, June 19, 2007, at home.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, June 21 at Catawba United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Phillip Chandler officiating. Burial will be at Catawba Methodist Church Cemetery.
Born in Cedartown, Ga., Mrs. Clark was the daughter of the late John Archie Potts and Virgie Wiggins Potts. She was a member of Catawba United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the United Methodist Women.
She is survived by three sons, Doug Clark of Catawba, S.C., Wayne Clark of Rock Hill, S.C., and Nathan Clark of Chester, S.C.; three daughters, Janice Smith of Catawba, Sherri Thornburg of Edgemoor, S.C., and Glenda Evans of Rock Hill; three brothers, Alton Potts of Rock Hill, Noah Potts of Rock Hill and Michael Potts of Rock Hill; two sisters, Peggy Faile of Rock Hill, Sarah Canty of Rock Hill, Grace Dixon of Rock Hill, Naomi Potts of California and Melinda Potts of Rock Hill; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home and other times at the home of a daughter, Glenda Clark Workman, 196 Highway 324 East, Rock Hill.
