ROCK HILL -- Iris Marie McCoy, 48, of 450 Bynum Ave., died Monday, June 18, 2007, at Piedmont Medical Center.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at New Hope United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Bill Dargan officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
She was a native of Rock Hill, the daughter of the late Robert and Ozella McCoy.
She was employed with The Herald as a part-time inserter and a home health caregiver. She was formerly employed with Springs Industries, White Plant.
She is survived by three sons, Bishop Disharek "Doc" McCoy (DiBari), Chris McCoy and Chayvin McCoy all of Rock Hill; four daughters, Pheadra "Fay" (William) McCoy-Cureton, Tiffany (Marcus) McCoy, Erica McCoy and Angie McCoy all of Rock Hill; 12 grandchildren, Kiaesha (KiKi) McCoy, Christina Conner, DaSharek McCoy, ZyChiyah McCoy, Heaven McCoy, Adrian (AK) McCoy, Brandon Cureton, Arionia McCoy, Caleb Conner, Fonisha Kirk and Pyper Chisolm; two brothers, Robert "Coy" (Lois) McCoy, Regginald Neely; six nieces, Saundra (John) McCoy-Gordon, Vaska Coleman-McCoy, Breka Coleman-McCoy, Tai Rolan, Jalisa McCoy, Breairra Neely; ten nephews, Robert Bernard McCoy, Antonio E. Williams, Safee Colvin, Jaman Coleman-McCoy, Troy A. Rolan Jr., Keyota McCoy, Jacolvin McCoy, John Gordon Jr., Jaquin McCoy, Antonio Williams Jr.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a grandson, Disharek McCoy Jr.
Visitation will be 3 until 8 p.m. Friday at Parker Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m. and other times at the home of Fay McCoy, 1224 Colby Dr., Rock Hill.
