CHESTER -- Mr. Thomas "Tommy" Hugh McGuirt, 54, died Saturday, June 23, 2007, at Piedmont Medical Center.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 26, 2007, at Northside Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jerry Sosebee and Bishop David Kemp officiating. Burial will be at Laurelwood Cemetery.
A native of Rock Hill, Mr. McGuirt was a son of Edward Lyle "Pete" McGuirt Sr. and Bertha Mahaffey McGuirt of Rock Hill.
He was a 1971 graduate of Rock Hill High School and worked for Westinghouse in Charlotte for 25 years. He was currently employed with Siemens Turbo Care and was a member of Mt. Holly United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. McGuirt is survived by his daughters, Tamara "Tammy" Altman and her husband, Rusty and Jennifer Cunnup and her husband, David, all of Rock Hill and Mary Beth Connor and her husband, Dickie of Chester; his brother, Eddie McGuirt of Orlando, Fla.; six grandchildren, Drew Connor, Brennan Altman, Hannah Connor, Ashton Altman, Payton Altman and Taylor Cunnup.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. on today at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill and other times at the home of his parents, 733 N. Confederate, Rock Hill.
