DURHAM, N.C. -- Mr. Willie Calvin Roddey died Thursday, June 28, 2007 at Durham Regional Hospital.
The funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at Robinson Funeral Home with Rev. Ira Roddey officiating. Burial will be at Barber Memorial Cemetery.
A native of York County, he was the son of the late Willie and Rose Roddey.
Surviving are his wife, Dianne Roddey; four sons, Terrence Roddey (Loretta), Shane McKee, Germaine McKee and Tavaris Roddey; one daughter, Sherrell Knox (Herbert); one stepson, Maurice Roddey; 11 grandchildren; three brothers, Rev. Ira Roddey (Mary), Donald Roddey (Lillie) and Harold Roddey; four sisters, Mary Roddey, Gloria Carter, Emma Blake and Phyllis Hoyles; and one aunt, Hattie Johnson.

Mr. Roddey may be viewed from 5 to 7 tonight at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at 614 Walnut Street.
