FORT MILL -- Mrs. Helen Elizabeth Cunnup Williams, 86, of 110 Patterson St., died Tuesday, July 3, 2007, at her home.

Graveside services will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday, at Unity Cemetery, with a Celebration of Life service 2 p.m., at St. Johns United Methodist Church, with the Revs. John Warren and Joe Tysinger officiating.

A native of Fort Mill, Mrs. Williams was a daughter of the late Thomas A. Cunnup Sr. and Grace Bennett Cunnup.

Mrs. Williams was retired from Celanese Corp. after 20 years of employment and was a past employee of Springs Industries. She was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Ladies Bible Class. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and enjoyed gardening, fishing and her frequent beach trips.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis W. and Tommy Chambers; one brother, Bob Cunnup; one sister, Avie Sloan; three grandchildren, Tommy Chambers Jr. and wife, Martha, Gina C. Hill and husband, Tim, Joel Chambers and wife, Gina; and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the church following the service and other times at the home of her daughter, 626 Smythe Rd., Fort Mill.
