CHESTER -- Mrs. Helen Patrick Alexander, 75, of 2750 Quinn Road died Wednesday, July 4, 2007, at Palmetto Health Baptist Hospital in Columbia, S.C.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday at West Chester Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jeff Williams, the Rev. Bob Finley and the Rev. Mike Lowery officiating. Burial will be at Zion Cemetery.
A native of Chester, S.C., Mrs. Alexander was a daughter of the late Clyde and Mary Lou Love Patrick. She was a graduate of Chester High School and retired from Oxford Industries. She was a member of West Chester Baptist Church. Mrs. Alexander was a former Sunday School teacher having taught many years. She was a loving and caring Christian woman.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Mack Alexander Jr.; three daughters, Joyce A. Martin, June A. Watson and Shirley A. Brown, all of Chester, S.C.; one sister, Gladys P. Winter of Columbia, S.C.; one brother, John R. Patrick of Chester; five grandchildren, Paul Martin, Carolyn Logan, Rebecca Eifert, Beverly Brown and Matthew Watson, all of Chester; and three great-grandchildren, Isaac Logan, Brandon Martin and Braden Brown, all of Chester.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester.
