YORK -- Mrs. Mickie Kimbrell Michaels of 1019 Turkey Creek Ridge Road died Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at her home in York.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 12, 2007, at Philadelphia United Methodist Church in York, with the Rev. John Williams officiating. Burial will be at Philadelphia U.M.C. Cemetery.
Born in Rock Hill, Mickie was a daughter of the late Austin and Vivian Hamilton Kimbrell. She was a homemaker and attended Philadelphia United Methodist Church and was a great lover of animals and always said God bless everyone and everything.
She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Michaels Jr. of York, S.C.; her son, Eddie Strait of Rock Hill, S.C.; two stepsons, Billy Michaels and Terry Michaels, both of Clover, S.C.; two stepdaughters, Cindy Redman of York, Barbara Moses of Clover, S.C.; her sister, Kim Kimbrell of York; her granddaughter, Stacy McConaghy; 11 stepgrandchildren; and 11 stepgreat-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Bratton Funeral Home today, July 11, 2007, from 6 to 8 p.m.
