ROCK HILL -- Mrs. Sadie Bankston Anglin of Rock Hill went to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 18, 2007, at the age of 93.
The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2007 at Northside Baptist Church, 1140 Curtis St., Rock Hill, with the Rev. Steve Anglin and the Rev. David Petro officiating. Burial will take place at Laurelwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Anglin was born in Avondale Estates, Ga., to the late Walter and Hattie Conley Bankston and has resided in Rock Hill since 1950. She was preceded in death by her husband, Welton C. Anglin; her infant daughter, Juanita; her daughter, Christine Anglin Ward; her grandson, John Ronald Ward; and her brother, JW Bankston. Mrs. Anglin retired from Pharr Yarns in Red River, S.C., where she worked more than 20 years. She was a faithful and dedicated member of Northside Baptist Church, where she served the Lord with gladness and thanksgiving and taught her children to do likewise.
Mrs. Anglin is survived by her three sons, Gene Anglin and wife, Martha, Bobby Anglin and wife, Jewell, all of Rock Hill, and Troy Anglin and wife, Polly of Charlotte, N.C.; two sisters, Irene Anderson of Canton, Ga., and Catherine Morgan and husband, D.A., of Conyers, Ga.; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, July 20, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill.
Her family wishes to thank everyone for their visits, calls and all expressions of concern. Also, we wish to extend our thanks to the nurses and staff of Agape Community Hospice.
