FORT LAWN -- Mr. Dominique Jerome Jeter-Mackins of 6121 Hightower Road died Sunday, July 22, 2007, in Chester County, S.C.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2007 at First Mount Zion Baptist Church in Great Falls, S.C., with the Rev. Michael Golden officiating and assisted by Pastor Harold Harris Sr. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. He will lie in state at the church from 1 p.m. until the hour of the service.
A native of Charlotte, N.C., he was born on June 23, 1989, the son of Ernestine "Tina" Cloud Mackins, Willie Mackins and David Jeter. He was a member of First Mount Zion Baptist Church in Great Falls. He was educated in both the Charlotte Mecklenburg School as well as the Dekalb County, Ga. public schools, graduating from Druid Hills High School in Decatur, Ga. in May 2007. He was employed by Northern Tools in Fort Mill, S.C. as a Loader and was a former employee of Stone Mountain Park in Stone Mountain, Ga.
He is survived by his parents, Ernestine "Tina" Cloud-Mackins of the home, Willie Mackins of Charlotte and David (Grace) Jeter of Locust Grove, Ga.; two brothers, Channing Jeter of Atlanta, Ga., David (Sheree) Jeter of Fort Lawn, S.C.; one sister, Marketta Jeter of Fort Lawn; special cousin and guardian, Sigmund Jermaine Lynn of Atlanta, Ga.; 18 aunts; 13 uncles; six great aunts; three great uncles; four great-great aunts; one great-great uncle; very special friend, Danielle Worthy; two devoted friends, Gerald Dixon and Tray Culp; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends at the home. Viewing will be today, July 26, 2007 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Christopher King's Funeral Home, 703 Old York Road, Chester.
