CLOVER -- Mr. Joel Fredrick Jackson, 54, of 112 Marion St., Clover, died Sunday, July 29, 2007 at Presbyterian Hospital, Charlotte, N.C.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 1, 2007, at Clover Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Dr. Douglass Key officiating. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
Mr. Jackson was a graduate of Camden Military Academy and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served in the Vietnam War. As a faithful lifelong member of the Clover Presbyterian Church, he served as a deacon. He was a member of the Clover and Lake Wylie Chamber of Commerce. He was a member of the Clover Planning Commission. Currently he was real estate Broker in Charge at the Lake Wylie branch of Century 21.
Surviving are his mother Margaret Buice Jackson Woods of Clover; sister and brother-in-law, Judy J. and Leonard Jackson of Prosperity, S.C.; special friend, Amy Bradley of Clover; nephews, Jay and Jeff Jackson; and great-nephews, Colby, Jayden and Mason Jackson. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe L. Jackson and his step-father, Robert Woods.

The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday night at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, Clover.
