FORT MILL -- Mrs. Frances Boatwright Broom, 87, of 1431 Harris St., died Saturday, July 28, 2007, at Rock Hill Health Care.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Grandview Memorial Park - Hollis Lakes Road, with Pastor Arnold McCarver officiating.
A native of Pineville, N.C., Mrs. Broom was a daughter of the late Robert and Mary Agnus Boatwright. She was retired from Cone Mills of Pineville after many years of employment and was a member of New Zion Primitive Baptist Church. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She was also the widow of Tom Morris Broom.
She is survived by five sons, Thomas Lee Broom of York, James Ellis Broom of North Myrtle Beach and Grover Franklin Broom, Roger Dell Broom and Richard Wayne Broom, all of Fort Mill; three sisters, Elizabeth Mull and Sally Mull, both of York and Katherine Pressley of Indian Land; 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Fort Mill Funeral Home and other times at the home of Grover Broom, 1443 Westside Drive, Fort Mill.
