DALLAS, N.C. -- Mrs. Frances Morton Rudisill died Aug. 1, 2007, at her home.
A native of Gaston County, N.C., Mr. Rudisill was a daughter of the late R. D. and Cora Blanton Morton. She retired from Bell South, was a member of Bell South Telephone Pioneers and was a very active member of Rankin Lake Baptist Church, where she was a member of the choir, served as church clerk and Sunday School teacher.
Survivors are her son, James D."Rudy"Rudisill Jr. and Pam Perkins of Gastonia; brothers, Richard Morton and wife, Dot of Newberry, S.C., Judson Morton of Dallas, and Arnold Eugene Morton of Rock Hill, S.C.; and sisters, Eula Mae Howell of Rock Hill and Nollie Clemmer and husband, Lewis of Dallas.
Mrs. Rudisill was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James D. Rudisill; and brothers, L. S. Morton, R. C. Morton and James Morton.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Rankin Lake Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jim Loftis officiating. Burial will be at Gaston Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at Dallas Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Vard Clemmer, Don Morton, Doyle Bullad, Kevin Montgomery and Jimmy and Mickey Thomas.
