ROCK HILL -- Mrs. Julia Frances Cosimi Reburn, 82, died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2007, at Piedmont Medical Center.
The funeral mass will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, 2007, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Fort Mill, with Father John Giuliani officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park on Cherry Road.
A native of Ashtabula, Ohio, Mrs. Reburn was a daughter of the late Bernardo Cosimi and the late Marianna DeGeorge Cosimi. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, graduated from Ashtabula High School and was a homemaker. Julia loved to prepare Italian dishes and bake for her family and friends. Her skill as a cook was extraordinary and no one ever left her house hungry. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
Surviving are her husband, Earl B. Reburn of the home; her sons, William Reburn and wife, Martina and Robert Reburn and wife, Beth, all of Rock Hill, Bernard Reburn and companion, Melissa Burrell of Fort Mill and John Reburn of Herndon, Va.; her daughter, Marianne Miller and husband, Andrew of Rock Hill; her brother, Clayton Cosimi and wife, Christine; her sisters, Yolanda Cosimi, Nelda DePascale and Anna Quinn; and her grandchildren, Brian Keara, Olivia, Thomas, Miles Julie Nicholas, Mathias, Jennifer, Amanda, David and Lisa. She was preceded in death by her sister, Lena Cosimi.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill.
