FORT MILL -- Mr. Ralph Norwood Morris, 90, of Fort Mill, died Friday, Aug. 10, 2007, at home.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, 2007 at First Baptist Church Chapel, with the Rev. Ralph Riley officiating. Burial will be at Unity Cemetery.
Born Feb. 1, 2007 in Sanford, N.C., Mr. Morris was a son of the late Rufus and Annie Lee Brown Morris. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Morris was one of the founders of Associated Mechanical Erectors (A.M.E.). He was a member of First Baptist Church, where he was a deacon, a Sunday School teacher, and one of the organizers of the Senior Adults and drove their bus on many trips. He also was a member of the Fort Mill Lions Club.
Surviving are his wife, Annie Lee "Dot" Morris; son and daughter-in-law, John and Deborah Morris of Fort Mill; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Judy Morris of Winston-Salem, N.C.; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Dr. Robert Parham; two sisters, Mabel Morris Hicks of Latta, S.C., and Estelle Oldham of Sanford, N.C.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Keith Morris of Fayetteville, N.C.
