ROCK HILL -- Mr. Walter H. "Dutch" Grantham, 88, of 1915 Ebenezer Road died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007, at White Oak Manor.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Northside Baptist Church, with Dr. Jerry Sosebee officiating. Burial will be at Forest Hills Cemetery.
A native of Marion County, Fla., Mr. Grantham was a son of the late John S. Grantham and the late Ethel Scott Grantham. He was a driver for Rebar in Catawba, S.C., and was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon, an usher and was president of his Sunday School class. He was also a member of the Granard Masonic Lodge 186 in Gaffney and the Hejaz Shrine Temple. He was the widower of Bertie Scruggs Grantham and was also preceded in death by his brother, James Grantham.
Surviving are two sons, John H. Grantham and Henry C. Grantham, both of Rock Hill; two sisters, Mary Smith of Ocala, Fla., and Faye Zugschwert of Atlanta, Ga.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. Saturday, prior to the service, at the church.
