YORK -- Jewell Wood Loring, 72, of 2235 Old Highway 321, died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007, at her home in York.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lakeview Memory Gardens. Rev. Scott Fleischer will be officiating.
A native of York, South Carolina, Jewell Loring was a daughter of the late Edward Charles Wood and Ida Walker Wood. She worked in advertising and was a graduate of Duke University.
She is survived by Sherry Hall Lusk (stepdaughter) of Lubbock, Texas, John M. Hall (stepson) of Lubbock, Charles Kenneth Wood (brother) of York; and five grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 tonight and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bratton Funeral Home.
