AIKEN -- Mrs. Beverly Singleton Williams, of 1383 Hampton Ave., Aiken, departed this life Aug. 20, 2007, at her home.
Funeral services were held Aug. 24, 2007, at Zion Baptist Church in Wagener. Burial followed at Bible Way Cemetery.
Mrs. Williams was born Jan. 18, 1950, the second child and daughter to the late William A. Singleton and Bettye Dunlap Singleton of Rock Hill. She attended and joined at an early age, St. Matthew AME Zion Church, Rock Hill.
"Beverly," as she was fondly called by friends and family, graduated from Emmett Scott High School and Denmark Area Trade College in Denmark, S.C. While at school, she met and married Kenneth Roy Williams, who is now deceased, of Salley, S.C. To this union, two children were born, Keith Christopher (O'Kemia) Williams and Kevin Jerome Williams.

She also leaves to mourn her passing, her mother, Bettye D. Singleton; her sister, Barbara Singleton-Johns of Rock Hill; her brothers and sister-in-law, William A. II and Lillie Singleton of Walterboro and Wyatt D. Singleton of Orlando, Fla.; her two grandchildren, Kayla and Christopher; her father-in-law, Jim D. Williams of Salley; her nephews, William III, Justin, Dennis; a niece, Ashley Celeste; four aunts, Genevive, Margaret, Mary Jo and Miriam; three uncles, William, Elva and Arthur; and many other sorrowing relatives and friends.
To know Beverly was to love her. Her life was a blessing to all whom she touched. She will be missed, but never forgotten by all who loved her.
