YORK -- Mary Elizabeth Robinson West, 94, of 211 Blackburn St., died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007, at White Oak Manor in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be 4 p.m. Tuesday at York Church of God. Rev. Gene Land and Rev. Donald Hawkins will be officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in York.
A native of York, South Carolina, Mary West was a daughter of the late Samuel Glenn Robinson Sr. and Maggie Norman Robinson. She was the widow of David D. West and Emmett Howe. She was a member of the York Church of God and retired from American Thread.
She is survived by her son, James E. Howe of Sharon; her daughter, Brenda Widener of York; her brother, Samuel Robinson Jr. of Clover; her sisters, Ida Porter of Rock Hill and Willie Mae Neil of York. She has four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Bratton Funeral Home.
