ROCK HILL -- Mrs. Edna Ryder Sprouse, 82, of 4460 Strait Road died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007, at her home.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Greene Funeral Home Downtown Chapel, with John Ritenbaugh officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park on Cherry Road.
A native of Union, Mrs. Sprouse was a daughter of the late Thomas Fred Ryder and the late Vinettie Dockery Bentley. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of the Great God in Fort Mill. She was the widow of Theodore Sprouse and was also preceded in death by two sons, Fred Brady Sprouse and Marion Theodore Sprouse.
Surviving are her son, Otis Leonard Sprouse of Rock Hill; two daughters, Edith Oliver and Joyce Kelly, both of Rock Hill; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Greene Funeral Home Downtown Chapel, 355 E White St., Rock Hill and other times at the home.
