ROCK HILL -- Mr. Richard Curtis Ray Jr., 35, of 708 Pixie Moss Court, passed away Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007 at his home.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, with Rev. Jerry Devinney officiating. Burial will be at Forest Hills Cemetery.
A native of Rock Hill, Mr. Ray was a son of Richard Curtis Ray Sr. and Wanda B. Ray of Rock Hill. He was a U.S. Marine veteran and a member of the Marine Corp League who loved his country. He headed Toys for Tots and was an avid hunter who loved his dogs. He was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Nicole C. Ray; his son, Richard Chandler Ray of Rock Hill; his paternal grandmother, Margie Ray of Rock Hill; his maternal grandmother, Kathleen Broome of Rock Hill; and his grammy, Elizabeth Bokhorst of Fort Mill. "Dicky" dearly loved his entire family.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, and other times at the home.
