YORK -- Mrs. Carrie Watson Taylor went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007, at White Oak Manor of York.
Carrie was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in York. Carrie was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Childers of Hickory Grove. Carrie was the wife of the late Charles M. Watson. They had two sons, Frank (Dianne) Watson of Hickory Grove and John (Ann) Watson of Gaffney; two daughters, Brenda (Bobby) Williams of Hickory Grove and Linda (Dennis) Woods of Gaffney.
Carrie was the wife of the late Claude Taylor of York. She had four stepchildren; one son, Donald (Lena) Taylor of York; three daughters, Claudia (Ed) Workman, Annete (Alan) Fitzgeralds and Martha Bracket, all of York. Carrie was blessed with 22 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Carrie is also survived by three brothers, Otto Childers and Floyd Childers, both of Hickory Grove and Jesse (Ruth) Childers of Rock Hill. She has been blessed by God on earth and now she is being blessed by God in heaven.

There will be a graveside service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Unity Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Tony Lineberger officiating.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Bratton Funeral Home and also at the home of her daughter, Brenda Williams, 4638 Highway 97, Hickory Grove.
