RICHBURG -- The Rev. Moses Hayes Sr., 67, of 806 Sr. Drive passed away Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007, at his home.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2007, at 3 p.m. at Loving Charity Baptist Church in Richburg. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors are his wife, Thelma White Hayes of the home; four sons, Moses (Belinda) Hayes Jr. and Gene (Denise) Hayes, both of Lancaster, S.C., Cassius Clay (Teresa) Hayes I of Monroe, N.C., and Leonard (Denise) Hayes of Chester, S.C.; two daughters, Sandra "Lady" Hayes of Fort Lawn, S.C., and Tammy Williams of Richburg, S.C.; three brothers, Samuel James Hayes of Atlanta, Ga., Roosevelt (Anita) Hayes of Rock Hill, S.C., and Barbie Jean Hayes of Chester; grandsons whom he reared, Christopher "Rem" Hayes of Chester; 23 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; uncle, Joe Caldwell of Concord, N.C.; son-in-law, Bernard Williams of Fort Lawn, S.C.; and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Viewing will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today at King's Funeral Home, 135 Cemetery St., Chester.
