CAMDEN -- Services for Dorothy Ford Bish, 75, will be held Sunday, Sept. 30, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church, with burial to follow in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Jimmy Atkerson and the Rev. Russell Galloway will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Sept. 29, 2007, at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. Mrs. Bish, widow of Henry LeRoy Bish, died Friday, Sept. 28, 2007. Born in Union County, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Sanford and Mae Bell Anderson Ford. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She retired from Zippy Mart and Young's Mart.
Surviving are her children, David Sutton (Brenda) of Tennessee, Julie Mahoney (Preston) of Sumter, Brenda Thigpen (Jimmy) of Sumter, Peggy Shumate (Dennis) of Camden; grandchildren, James, Robert, Jay, Lee, Jennifer, Brian, Davy, Barry and Lynn; great-grandchildren, Kate Lynn, Kimberly, Savannah, Brice, Dennis Barry, Austin and Cass; brother, George W. Ford of Fort Mill; and sister, Betty Jo Sullivan of Boiling Springs.
