YORK -- Mrs. Louise Starnes Alexander, 70, of 787 Meadowbend Drive, died Friday, Sept. 28, 2007, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday, at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Rev. Kerry Ohiser and Rev. William Nunn will be officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Baptist Church Cemetery.
A native of York, Mrs. Alexander was a daughter of the late William F. Starnes and Effie McAbee Starnes. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She was employed as a transcriptionist at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill for 31 years, and also worked as a transcriptionist at Carolina Cardiology in Rock Hill.
She is survived by her loving husband, Billy Alexander Sr. of York; three sisters, Mae Elders of Fort Lawn, Betty Green of York and Genora Westmoreland of Rock Hill; five sons, James Michael Nunn, William Arnold Nunn, Timothy Alexander, John Alexander and Billy Alexander; and three daughters, Caroline A. Hamilton, Billie A. Holmes and Debra Alexander.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 tonight at Bratton Funeral Home.
