ROCK HILL -- Mr. Willie Lewis "Flash" Gordon, of 1311 Pinkney St., died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007, at Piedmont Medical Center.
The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Cedar Grove Baptist Church, with Pastor W.W. Thompson officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
A native of Rock Hill, he was the son of George Sr. and Willie Frances Gordon of Rock Hill. He attended the public schools of York County and was a graduate of Rock Hill High School. After graduation, he joined the United States Army, where he served from 1979 until he was honorably discharged in 1984. He was formerly employed with Shoney's.
Surviving in addition to his parents are four brothers, George Gordon Jr., James Gordon, Harvey Gordon and Ricky Gordon; four sisters, Beulah Gordon, Juanita Crosby, Vickie Starr and Lavonne Ellis.

Mr. Gordon may be viewed from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Robinson Funeral Home and from 11 a.m. until time of the service Monday at the church. The family will receive friends at the home.
