Rusha Barnett

SHARON --Mrs. Rusha Hines Barnett, 92, of 3611 Barnett Road died Friday, Oct. 5, 2007, at White Oak Manor in York.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007, at Woodlawn Presbyterian Church. The Rev. James Gable will be officiating and the Rev. Barry Lambert assisting. Burial will be at Woodlawn Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Sharon, S.C.

A native of York County, Mrs. Barnett was a daughter of the late John Hines and Cora Stirewalt Hines. She was the widow of Henry Clay Barnett and was a member at Woodlawn Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Myrtle Ann Jones of Rock Hill, S.C., and Margie B Childers of York, S.C.; two sons, Claude Johnny Barnett of York and Henry James Barnett of Sharon; two sisters, Ola Ivey of Clover, S.C., and Bessie Quinn of Rock Hill; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and two great-great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Barnett was preceded in death by two sons, Lance Cpl. Roy Grant Barnett and Jackie Clay Barnett; and two daughters, Ester B. Byrum and Doris Barnett

Visitation will be held at Woodlawn Presbyterian Church today, Oct. 6, 2007, from 6 to 8 p.m. and other times at the home of her daughter, Margie Childers, 8 Cartwright St., York.
