ROCK HILL -- Mrs. Carrie Retter Stewart Sibley, 56, of 308 Marhsall St., died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007, at her residence.
The funeral will be 4 p.m. Monday at Harmony United Methodist Church, with Rev. Horace White officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Born April 8, 1951, Mrs. Sibley was the daughter of the late Willie Stewart Jr. and Azzilee White Barnette Stewart. She was the widow of Lewis "Boney" Sibley and was predeceased by one sister, Willie Mae Barnette.
She leaves to cherish fond memories four sons, Ronald Stewart, James L. Stewart, Herbert Sibley and Donald Sibley, all of Rock Hill; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her grandmother, Essie M. Barnette of Rock Hill; five sisters, Wanda Gayton, Jackie Stewart, Pauline Barnette and Inell Barnette, all of Rock Hill and Linda Stewart of Catawba; 10 brothers, Ernest Stewart, Eddie Stewart, Ronnie Stewart, Thomas Stewart, Johnny Stewart (Cathy), Bernard Stewart, Raynard Stewart (Sandra) and Jerry Barnette, all of Rock Hill, Odell Stewart (Martha) of Edgemoor, Albert Stewart of Chester and Robert Gayton (Louvenia) of Catawba; two sisters-in-law, five brothers-in-law and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
