ROCK HILL -- Mr. Thomas Lyle Baker Sr., 79, of 1183 Red River Road, died Friday, Oct. 5, 2007, at his home.
The funeral will be 11a.m. Monday at Greene Funeral Home Downtown Chapel. Burial will be at a later date.
A native of Rock Hill, Mr. Baker was a son of the late Thomas F. Baker and the late Henrietta Nettles Baker. He was retired from J.P. Stevens with 47 years of service and was of the Baptist faith. He was also a member of the V.F.W. Post #2889 and the American Legion Post #34.
Surviving are his son, Thomas "Pee Wee" Baker Jr. and Sheri Bivins of Rock Hill; his stepson, Frankie Vincent of Rock Hill; his brother, Rev. Randall Baker and his wife, Betty of Leedsville; his sister, Audrey Baker Adkins and her husband, Bill of Rock Hill; three grandchildren, Tina Baker, Nikki Huddleston and her husband, Jack and Thom Baker III and his wife, Angel; five great-grandchildren, Brandon Huddleston, Kyela and Austin Baker and Ashley and Lisa Deal; and four great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Greene Funeral Home Downtown Chapel, 355 E. White St., Rock Hill.
