Gracie Cloninger Walker

INDIAN LAND -- Mrs. Gracie Cloninger Walker, age 70, of Indian Land, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007, at her son's home.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Wolfe Funeral Home. Burial will be at Flint Hill Baptist Church cemetery.

Born September 9, 1937 in Fort Mill, Mrs. Walker was a daughter of the late John Franklin Cloninger and Annie Bailey Cloninger. She graduated from Fort Mill High School. Mrs. Walker was a homemaker and enjoyed playing bingo. Her grandchildren were the love of her life.

Surviving are her husband, Lawrence "Buck" Walker; her son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Sandra Walker of Pineville, N.C.; her daughter and son-in-law, Carrie and Brian Riggs of Rock Hill; her brother, Jonah "Red" Cloninger of Sharon; her sister, Ann Boatwright of York; grandchildren, Ashley McDonald and her husband Tim and Seth Walker and Kimberleigh Riggs; her great-grandchild, Andi Walker; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Larry Walker.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Wolfe Funeral Home, and other times at the home of Tony and Sandra Walker, 112 Kenmore Drive in Pineville.
