YORK -- Mr. Theodore A. Ludwick, 78, of 348 Boxwood Court passed away Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007, at Piedmont Medical Center.
A memorial service will be 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, with Pastor Susan Denne officiating. Committal service will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York, S.C., with military honors provided by the American Legion Frank Roach Post 34.
Mr. Ludwick was born on May 12, 1929 to the late James and Amanda Ludwick of Cicero, Ill. He served in the U.S. Army from 1946-1948 in Japan during WWII, U.S. Marine Corps from 1953-1959 during the Korean War and finishing in the U.S. Air Force reserves. He retired from U.S. Airways in 1994, was employed at Lowes of Rock Hill and was a 10-year member of the American Legion of Rock Hill.
Mr. Ludwick is survived by his loving wife, Valentine (Valerie) Ludwick; his seven children: THERESA and Teddy Doster and their children, James and Amanda, RICHARD and Deanne Hernandez and their children, Tamara, Mariah and D'Kota, BRIAN and Diane Ludwick, SCOTT and Toni Ludwick and their children, Teddy and Shyanne, KEITH and Chris Ludwick and their children, Mathew and Amanda, CRAIG and Bonnie Ludwick and their children, Andy, Brandon, and Justyn and BETH and Ken Beaty and their children, Caxton and Kenny; and one great-grandchild, Emmalyn H. Roberts.

Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 12, 2007, from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill. Family will receive friends at other times and after the service at the home.
