ROCK HILL -- Mrs. Myrtle Lipe Ayers, 74, of 867 Lombardy Road died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2007, at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro, N.C.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at Greene Funeral Home Downtown Chapel, with the Rev. Dennis Ayers officiating. Burial will be at Laurelwood Cemetery,
Born in Fort Mill, S.C., Mrs. Ayers was the daughter of the late Jess Lee Lipe and Rosie Reeves Lipe. She was married to the late Billy R. Ayers and was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Sanders. She was a member of Main Street Church of God.
Survivors include her son, David Ayers of the home; her daughter, Debra Sanders of Rock Hill; her brother, Jess Roy Lipe of Greenwood, S.C.; four sisters, Pansy Ayers of Rock Hill, Katie Osbourne and Edna Poole of Fort Mill S.C., and Betty Elkins of Gastonia, N.C.; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandaughter.

The family will receive friends 7 to 8:30 tonight at Greene Funeral Home Downtown Chapel, 355 E. White St., Rock Hill and other times at the residence.
