CHESTER -- Mrs. Hazel Elizabeth "Lib" McWatters King, 75, of 2538 Knox Station Road died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007, at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia, S.C.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Orrs Baptist Church, with the Rev. Curtis Marshall officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
A native of Chester County, S.C., Mrs. King was a daughter of the late James J. McWatters and Jeanette Quinton McWatters. She was a homemaker and a member of Orrs Baptist Church, where she was a choir member. She attended schools of Lewisville and was the widow of Howard M. King.
Surviving is one son, Dennis King of Chester, S.C.; three daughters, Beth Roof, Betty Ann Wade and Elaine Lanier all of Chester, S.C.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; seven brothers, James T. McWatters, Dewey L. McWatters, Bob McWatters and Jessie H. McWatters, all of Chester, Grady McWatters of Gilbert, S.C., and Gene McWatters of Charlotte, N.C.; and two sisters, Minnie L. McWatters and Eva J. Simmers, both of Chester. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence A. and Albert E. McWatters.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester.
