SUMTER -- Ms. Karen Yvonne Gregory-Langley, 50, formerly of Rock Hill, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007, at Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, 2007, at First Baptist Church in Fort Mill. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial.
Karen was born Jan. 2, 1957, in Rock Hill to James and Laura Varnadore. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Karen grew up in Rock Hill and was a graduate of York Technical College. She was a faithful Christian and dedicated her life to God. She was very passionate about her friends and family and caring for others. Karen was known for her heartwarming, vibrant smile and giving nature. To carry on her legacy, her organs were donated and saved the lives of seven people.

Karen was preceded in death by her father, James Varnadore and her brother, Ronnie Varnadore. Survivors include her husband, Bobby Langley of the home; her mother, Laura Varnadore of Rock Hill; her sister, Renee Giles of Fort Mill; two brothers, Eddie and Kenny Varnadore of Rock Hill; two daughters, Melissa and Nikki; one son, Steven; four grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends today, Oct. 25, 2007, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Whitesell Funeral Home in Rock Hill and other times at the home of Karen's daughter, 3071 Brookchase Blvd., Indian Land, S.C.
