ROCK HILL -- Mr. Harold E. Beatty, 62, died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2007, at his home after fighting a courageous battle with cancer for the last six years.
A funeral Mass will be conducted at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Oct. 29, 2007, at St. Anne Catholic Church, with Father William Pentis officiating. Burial will be private. A prayer service will be Sunday starting at 6 p.m., with visitation to follow until 8 p.m. at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill.
A native of Youngstown, Ohio, Mr. Beatty was the son of the late Harry O. Beatty and the late Josephine E. Beatty.
Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 41 years, Patricia Fidram Beatty; two daughters, Debbie Garnett and husband, Richard and Alison Beatty, all of Rock Hill; two brothers, Jack Beatty and wife, Pat, of Port Charlotte, Fla., and George Beatty and wife, Lois, of Youngstown, Ohio; three lovely granddaughters, Jessica, Elizabeth and Riley; his nephew, Scott Beach of Rock Hill; his sister-in-law, Mary Beach and husband, William, of York; and several special nieces and nephews.
